While Stephanie Lieber has only served on the Board of the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation (LSCRF) for six years, her history with LSCRF dates back to the organization’s beginning, over 25 years ago, where her mother and close friends took action to honor the memory of their dear friend Lynn Sage. Stephanie’s experience watching the organization grew from her own dining room table, to the Board room table at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and has inspired and propelled her to take a leadership position as the Chair of the Board of Directors. In this role she is committed to successfully taking the reins from a generation that started the group, growing the organization, and ultimately, to making a difference in the lives of the women and men impacted by breast cancer.
Professionally, Stephanie is the Vice President of Individual Giving at Chicago Children’s Museum where she has worked for nine years. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Francis W. Parker School and active in their nominating committee, development committee and alumni association.
Stephanie joined the LSCRF Full Board of Directors in 2006. In 2007, she was elected to the Executive Board of Directors. In 2010-2011 she served as Vice Chair of the organization. Stephanie’s mother, Charlene Lieber, is a founding member of LSCRF, and is also a past Chair.
